KATHMANDU, March 9: It’s said that if you can reach to the top of the stairs of Swayambhunath Stupa in one breath from the bottom of the steps, instant Nirvana will be yours.

Last Saturday morning, about 300 participants tried to get their share of Nirvana as they participated in The Temple Run, a charity race jointly organized by Nepal Share (Nyano Sansar) and Trail Running Nepal, in association with Federation of Swayambhu Management and Conservation.

According to the press release, those who participated collected Rs 500 from 10 people and they signed the registration form.
“We want to draw attention to the great work Nyano Sansar has done this year, bringing warmth to vulnerable people in the Tarai through their winter initiative. Now is a great time for people to donate warm winter items in preparation for next year,” states the press release.
