Cabinet meeting put off

KATHMANDU, April 21: The cabinet meeting that was scheduled to take place at 5 p.m. Tuesday has been postponed, according to our correspondent Kiran Chapagain. An official at the cabinet secretariat said the instruction to postpone the meeting came from the Prime Minister´s Office (PMO).

The meeting was to discuss the clarification given by the chief of army staff Rookmangud Katawal on his alleged defiance of civilian authority.
