In the session, the president will present the fiscal policies on behalf of the government which will then unveil its budget for the upcoming fiscal year. After receiving a letter from the office of the president, the parliament secretariat has started necessary preparations for the session.
The government plans to hold pre-budget discussions during the first days of the session and the president will present the plans and policies of the government.
According to sources, the government has yet to finalize the date to unveil the budget for the fiscal year 2015/16 but it is likely to do so by July 12 or 13. The advance bill is set to be endorsed from the parliament by July 16.
