KASKI, Oct 25: Chairman of Nepal Majdoor Kisan Party Narayan Man Bijukchhe has warned that the country could secede if the federal provinces were carved based on ethnic and lingual lines.

At a meet the press meet in Kaski on Friday organized by the party´s election publicity committee, Bijukchhe urged the voters not to cast vote to the political parties batting for ethnic-based federalism and ´one Madhes, one province´.[break]

He also claimed that the jumbo 601-member Constituent Assembly (CA) was not needed in the country as almost 80 per cent of the constitution writing works have been completed by the erstwhile CA.

Bijukchhe also urged one and all not to give vote to the money distributors in the name of election and those harboring communalism.

On a separate context, he said that election boycott was a democratic right but barring others to cast vote is also voters´ right violation.
