Bhutan's BRC into semifinal

UDAYPUR, March 13: Bhutan's BRC football team entered the semifinal of the Civil Homes Katari Gold Cup Football Tournament beating Banepa Boys' Club of Kavre 2-1 in Katari on Monday.

Dhiraj Tamang and Rupesh KC scored a goal each for BRC, while African recruit Victor scored a goal for Banepa Boys'. Dhiraj gave BRC the lead in the 51st minute and Rupesh doubled the advantage in 63rd minute. However, Victor cut the deficit in the 80th minute.

On Tuesday, Armed Police Force (APF) Club will face Morang XI. The winner and runner-up will receive Rs 125,000 and Rs 75,000 respectively.
