According to her personal assistant Sarita Giri, she will be admitted to the Apollo Hospital in New Delhi on Sunday for a health check-up and she will return to Kathmandu only next week.
However, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, Shreedhar Prasad Pokharel, denied having any knowledge of the minister´s postponed schedule.
Earlier on Saturday, Bhandari held talks with the Indian opposition leader LK Advani of the Bharatiya Janata Party on matters of mutual interest to Nepal and India, Kosh Narayan Shrestha, the Deputy Chief of Mission at the Nepal embassy in New Delhi said.
