KATHMANDU, Dec 8: Baglung Challenging Team (BCT) and Baglung Cricket Club (BCC) A recorded win on the inaugural day of the Hari Bahadur Khadka Memorial Cup T-20 Cricket Tournament that kicked off in Baglung on Tuesday.
BCT beat Virlankhuri Cricket Club (VCC) by seven wickets, while BCC A thrashed Dhaulagiri Cricket Club (DCC) B by 44 runs at the Bangachour Cricket Stadium, Baglung. Deciding to bat first, VCC put together 99 runs losing all wickets in the allotted 30 overs as Rabin Subedi contributed 26 runs against BCT. Pawan Hamal bagged four wickets to restrict VCC on a low total.

In reply, BCT completed the run chase in 13 overs losing three wickets with Khem Karan Raymajhi remaining not out on 54 runs and Arpan Kuwar scoring 25 runs.
In another encounter, batting first BCC scored 110 runs losing eight wickets in the 15-over match after Indra Thapa hit out 34 runs against DCC. Putting up a target of 111 runs, BCC restricted DCC on 66 runs in 13.2 overs. Sandip GC and Dipak KC scored 14 runs each for DCC. Jimmy Gurung, Pradeep Raut, Arjun Karki and Ishwar Sewa claimed two wickets each for BCC.
