Koirala has been already honoured with various awards. Koirala is former chief secretary. Similarly, the Council is to award senior litterateur Geetakeshari with this year´s ´ Basu Shashi Memorial Honour-2069´.
Geetakeshari has been honoured with various awards. A meeting of the working committee of the Council held under the chairmanship of chairman Krishna Joshi decided to award Koirala and Geetakeshari, said secretary of the council, Pradyumna Joshi.
The awards will be given away on the 77th birth anniversary of senior poet and dramatist Basu Shashi on March 26.
