Basketball semifinal lineup complete

KATHMANDU, July 3: Pulchowk Engineering College and Kathmandu Engineering College booked places in the semifinals of the First Himalaya Technical Basketball Tournament on Friday.



Pulchowk defeated Himalaya College 62-40 and KEC defeated Himalaya 34-29. Pulchowk´s Nabin Maharjan and Kathmandu´s Sandip Sthapit scored 21 points each for their teams´ victories.



Similarly, KCC and Acme Engineering College also advanced to the last four. KCC routed Kathford 40-17 riding on Manohar Jung Thapa´s 18 points. Acme´s semifinal place was confirmed after their win over Advanced College.
