KATHMANDU, Feb 16: Poet and lyricist Basanta Chaudhary released new songs on Saturday in Thapathali in an event titled ‘Love in the air’. His three new audio albums ‘Basanta Bela’, ‘Kuch Khwayishey Kuch Bandishey’ and ‘Moments of Love’were released by Chancellor of Nepal Academy Ganga Prasad Uprety, Chancellor of Nepal Music and Drama Academy Saru Bhakta and Chancellor of Nepal Lalitkala Academy Ragini Updhayay.
Before the launch, the poet recitedaround 17 of his poems for the audience. Singer Bishwa Nepali performed ‘Dhukha Bhanda Milne Saathi’ from ‘Basanta Bela’ while Banika Pradhan sang ‘Umangako Chheu Chhaina’. Music for the album, which has eight songs, has been composed by Bimala Pradhan.

Two music videos from Chaudhary’s ‘Moments of Love’ were also shown at the event.
