Bank staff steals client's money

KATHMANDU, Dec 9: A senior assistant of Lumbini Bank Ltd has been arrested for allegedly ´stealing´ Rs 600,000 from a client´s account.



According to Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu, Julian Bahadur Shrestha, posted at Durbarmarg branch, had drawn Rs 600,000 on two installments from the account of Rabindra Raj Joshi, a resident of Chakupat, Lalitpur.



Shrestha is alleged to have stolen the amount after taking a new check book in the name of Joshi.
