Speaking to media persons at his home district on Friday, Gautam said that he has come with a 34-point ambitious plan for the overall development of the district. "I regret not taking the initiative for any exemplary developmental work in my home district earlier," said Gautam, adding that he would now work actively to develop the district. [break]
He then went on to add that he would take the initiative for infrastructural development in the district. "Agriculture, livestock farming, income generation, urban development and tourism promotion are the main agenda items for the election campaign," said Gautam to woo voters in his constituency. He said that he has a masterplan to develop the educational and health sectors as well.
Gautam said though the party has prepared an election manifesto, he has drafted a separate commitment paper for the development of his own district. "I have proposed irrigation as the main agenda in my commitment paper," said Gautam. He also insisted that he has prepared a master plan for the development of agriculture.
"A cow conservation area, proper development of transportation, a Jhimruk valley development project, a hydropower project, promotion of the district as a religious centre, tourism and fish farming, among other things, are my proposals for the district," said Gautam.
