Bajaj Maha X-change Mela ends<br/>BoK in Tuphan Danda

KATHMANDU, Aug 26: The sixth edition of the Bajaj Maha X-change Mela has concluded, Hansraj Hulaschand & Co, the sole authorized distributor of Bajaj two-wheelers for Nepal, said. Issuing a statement on Wednesday, Hansarj Hulaschand said 1,175 Bajaj bikes were sold during the six-day event. [break]



“People from all age groups visited the Mela and took advantage of the opportunity. Participants took help from more than 25 companies regarding sales, inquiry and exchange of motorcycles,” the statement reads, adding that the new 100 cc Discover and the Pulsar 220 upgrade were popular among the visitors.



BoK in Tuphan Danda



KATHMANDU, Aug 26: Bank of Kathmandu (BoK) has extended its reach to Tuphan Danda in Dadeldhura. In a statement issued Wednesday, BoK said the new branch, the bank´s 31st, would provide financial services to not only the headquarters of the remote district in the far-western region, but also to many adjoining villages.



The branch will provide all banking services like deposits, loans, Letter of Credit transaction and remittance among others. The bank has 31 branches, six counters and 25 ATM counters, the statement added.
