And as Attorney General Karki submitted his resignation in writing through the Prime Minister to the President on November 19 the post of the Attorney General remains vacant from the day in accordance with Article 134 (3) of the Interim Constitution of Nepal, the Office of the President has said in a statement issued here Sunday.
The President has also thanked Mr Karki for performing his duties during his term of office.
