KATHMANDU, April 21: An international conference is scheduled to be held in Nepal for the first time concerning the possible occurrence of the earthquake, prior skills for personal safety and rescues during the occurrence.
Around 238 participants from Asia Pacific Region including Nepal will be attending the provincial quake practice assembly organized by Home Ministry in financial and technical support of the office of United Nations Humanitarian Assistance.
According to a press release issued by the ministry, the participants will acquire practical knowledge on safety during earthquakes.
