KATHMANDU, June 19: Arun Gurung bagged gold medal in the Boxing Tournament organized in Pokhara to mark the 10-day celebration of Olympic Day on Friday. Arun beat Kishan Gurung to claim men's 49 kg gold.

Likewise, Milan Thapa Magar defeated Amrit Gurung to win men's 56 kg gold medal. Yokta Raj (64 kg), Sumit Pun (65 kg), Ashish Gurung (69 kg), Madhu Sudan Shrestha (81 kg) and Darshan Gurung (91 kg) also finished with golds.
In the women's section, Shishma Thapa beat Soni Lama to earn first position in 52 kg category. Nepal Olympic Committee has been organizing different sports activities since June 13 as June 23 will be marked as Olympic Day.
