According to reports, as many as eight endangered Asiatic rhinos have died as a result of increased poaching activities in the last two months alone, raising security concerns in the national park. Nepal Army is responsible for the security of the park, the home to many endangered flora and fauna.
Brigadier General Yagya Bikram Rana has been designated as the head of the inquiry committee, a statement from the army said on Sunday.
