ANNISU (R) cadres vandalized colleges in capital

KATHMANDU, July 16: Students affiliated to the All Nepal National Independent Students´ Union (Revolutionary) carried out vandalism at two colleges on Monday morning, in a bid to exert pressure for removing their foreign names.



The ANNISU-Revolutionary is the student wing of the CPN-Maoist. The student cadres carried out vandalism at the South Western State College at Basundhara, at the Everest Florida College at Meenbhawan and at the Rato Bangla College in Lalitpur.[break]



The group of students also damaged a vehicle of the Rato Bangla College. They entered the college and smashed the glass doors, decoration articles and some computers also, it is stated.



Vice Principal of South Western College, Hari Singh K.C., said the students vandalized the college property at 5 in the morning today when none of the administrative staff of the college was there.
