Taking part in a face-to-face programme in the Capital on Saturday, she said representation of all political parties in the government was the need of the hour to take the peace process to a conclusion. [break]
She added the nation would not see progress until and unless the establishment of peace. NC leader Koirala further urged the UCPN (Maoist) and the Nepali Congress to be more flexible regarding the remaining issues of the peace process.
"I want to suggest to all parties including the NC and the CPN (UML) to join the incumbent government and support conclude the peace process since the frequent government change would put negative impact on the pride of the country", she said
Also speaking at the programme, Dr Prakash Chandra Lohani of Rastriya Janashakti Partyu said the peace process could not take a momentum due to growing intra and inter party conflict.
Referring the government recent decision to withdraw a case of murder against lawmaker Bal Krishna Dhungel, Dr Lohani urged the government to annul the decision and ensure equal justice to all people.
