Abducted health worker rescued

SAPTARI, June 21: Medical entrepreneur Tek Narayan Jha, who was abducted by an unknown armed group five days ago from Bathanaha-9 of Saptari district, was safely rescued on Monday morning.



Acting on a tip off, a joint team of Nepal Police and Armed Police Force rescued Jha from the Indian border area.



The group had abducted 35-year-old Jha from Andapatti while he was heading to his home from his shop at Inarwa Chowk last Wednesday.
