The NC delegation led by Central Working Committee (CWC) member Surendra Raj Pandey has also demanded strong action against the TV stations that have violated the code of conduct.

NC has said that ABC TV had broadcast live the election rallies of UCPN (Maoist) in breach of the election code of conduct. Likewise, Filmy TV has been accused of continuously broadcasting election publicity programs of Rastriya Prajatantra Party.

Following the complaints, the EC has drawn attention of the concerned parties to include the time of the publicity matters broadcast on TV as advertisement and money spent on those matters in their official record of election expense, according to EC officials.

The NC delegation also drew the attention of the EC over the ongoing Mechi-Mahakali Election Awakening Campaign of the UCPN (Maoist), according a member of Committee Keshav Rijal. NC has charged that the Maoists had tried to influence election by blocking roads and misusing vehicles and publicity materials in violation of the election code of conduct.

Those in the delegation include CWC members Pandey and Rajan Prasad Panta, and the Committee members Bharat Prasad Kharel, Sita Ram KC, Rajendra Raj Poudel, and members of the party´s publicity department Harihar Birahi and Kabir Rana.
