Speaking at the program, Pradhan said that service to mankind or community has always been and should be foremost priority of all Rotarians. “This year´s theme is Samarpan which emphasizes more on service. Without service we cannot bring peace to the world,” he said.

Similarly, Tuladhar stated that the 5th conference is the time to regenerate a sense of belongingness to a larger fraternity and to inspire Rotary members to rededicate themselves to the spirit of selfless service.

Many social works undertaken by rotary clubs in and outside the capital were highlighted at the conference that was inaugurated by vice president Paramananda Jha.
