313 students deprived of SLC examination

SARLAHI, March 19: Some 313 students have been deprived of attending the School Leaving Certificate (SLC) examinations in Sarlahi district this year.

The students are prevented from appearing in the examinations for failing to make 75 per cent of their attendance in the schools and not paying revenue Rs 500. Students belonging to more than three dozen community schools in the district are not permitted for SLC examinations, informed Chief of Examination Section at District Education Office, Deepak Kafle.


Total 7,599 students toward regular and 2,829 toward exempted from 113 schools of Sarlahi had filled up their forms to appear in this year's SLC examinations beginning Thursday, Kafle informed. RSS
