Nepal government has banned networking business since the last two years.

“We shall take action if they are found directly involved in the illegal business. Only two of them has been found with the company´s visiting card so far,” said Bastola.

Before the recent arrests, police had warned the locals about on going networking scams led by DBA and another company Billion Venture International in the various villages of the Jhapa district.

“They were promoting their business by organizing social service related functions,” said Bastola. “We raided the program venue after we found them using banners with the company´s name. That is considered direct promotional activity not a social act.” he claimed.

According to a source, such companies have been found luring many Nepalese from Darjeeling, Silgadhi, and many other places in India after the banning of such business in Nepal.
