Of the 17 people on board, only one escaped unharmed while two others are missing, Area Police Office Katari quoted locals as saying. Police said the locals were trying to rescue the injured.
The deceased are yet to be identified, Deputy Superintendent of Police in Udayapur Rohini Prasad Pokharel said.
The minibus heading from Katari to Ghurmi met with the accident after losing balance at Bhadaure in Lekhani VDC-2, it has been reported.
A police team had left for the accident site but the details were yet to come as the team had not reached the site which is 43 km from Katari.
Okhaldhunga police confirmed the accident and said a vehicle carrying health workers and medicines for a health camp planned at Rumjatar met with the accident.
