The gamblers, who were caught red-handed, were arrested from the local Sheraton Hotel. The identities of the gamblers are yet to be established. [break]
Police have also recovered Rs 5,00,000 in cash and impounded materials used in the gambling from the site, informed SP Bikash Shrestha, chief of the District Police Office, Siraha.
Police had been keeping a close vigil on the hotel for the last two days after being tipped off about the illegal activity in the hotel.
