KATHMANDU, Jan 20: The Department of Commerce and Supply Management (DoCSM), Babarmahal on Wednesday sealed two petrol pumps over irregularities in the distribution of petroleum products here in the capital.
Balaju-based Sai Enterprises and Satdobato-based Shiva Shakti Oil Stores have been sealed over irregularities by the DoCSM, Consumers Rights' Investigation Forum Chairman Madhav Timalsina told Republica.

"A squad from commerce department and Nepal Police has sealed Balaju-based Sai Enterprises and Satdobato-based Shiva Shakti Oil Stores over black-marketing of the petroleum products," Timalina said.
We took action against these two petrol pumps after they were found not distributing the fuel in accordance with the lot system as instructed by Nepal Oil Corporation, said Ram Hari Pokharel, section officer at Department of Commerce.
The NOC had provided these petrol pumps 4,000 liters of petrol each for distribution to customers.
Despite instructions to provide 800 motorcycles five liters of petrol each on the basis of lot system, they had distributed fas less amount of fuel.
