KATHMANDU, Feb 21: At least 159 Nepali students studying at the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) in Odisha, India, have returned home via Raxaul.

They returned home due to adverse circumstances that arose after the suspicious death of KIIT student Prakriti Lamsal. According to Assistant Chief District Officer at Parsa Suman Kumar Karki, around 159 students returned home via Raxaul on Thursday evening.

Meanwhile, youths from Birgunj organized a candlelight procession demanding justice for Rinku Sada, who was raped and killed in Siraha and Lamsal, who was found dead in KIIT University hostel in Odisha, on Thursday evening.  They raised their voices for judicial investigation, as both Lamsal and Sada's deaths were unnatural and they called for proper inquiry and justice to the victims.
