Energy Minister Khadka directs for prompt construction of Trishuli 3B Sub-station

KATHMANDU, Sept 24: Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Dipak Khadka, has directed the bodies concerned to complete the construction activities of Trishuli 3B Hub 220/132/33 kV sub-station and transmission line as soon as possible.

Visiting the substation on Tuesday, Minister Khadka urged the bodies concerned to complete the construction activities soon by resolving problems surfaced in course of expansion of the transmission line even by recruiting more human resources as the state has to bear a huge loss every day following delays in the expansion of the transmission line.  

The construction of Trishuli 3B Hub 220/132/33 kV sub-station has reached the final stage while the works on the transmission line connecting from Chilime to the substation have been obstructed at Mailung area. 

Meanwhile, Minister Khadka also inspected the Trishuli 3A Hydropower Project located at Uttargaya Rural Municipality of Rasuwa today itself.   

Similarly, lawmaker Mohan Acharya elected from Rasuwa; Secretary of the Ministry Suresh Acharya; senior energy expert of the ministry Prabal Adhikari; and Managing Director of the Nepal Electricity Authority, Kul Man Ghising, also inspected the project.
