KATHMANDU, June 12 : The paintings portray the rhythm of the daily lifestyle and celebrations of the ethnic India people. Both painters have depicted joy, playfulness, togetherness, and vibrancy of life in their paintings, representing the vivid souls of the places.

Mangaal Gandhari, 37, sells sarangis (traditional Nepali musical instruments) for his living at Thamel, Kathmandu. His family, including his father, wife, and three children, lives in Gorkha.

Sarangi players as well as father-son duo Chitra Bahadur and Govinda Gandarva have been traveling around various parts of Lamjung and singing songs about the earthquakes of April 2015 and the miseries they caused.
