NEW DELHI, May 5: The Indian government on Saturday lifted the ban on onion exports but imposed a minimum export price (MEP) of USD 550 per tonne, amid ongoing Lok Sabha elections in the country.

KATHMANDU, Feb 18: The Indian government has lifted the ban on onion export. A committee formed under the chairmanship of Indian Home Minister Amit Shah has decided to lift the ban on onion export.
