KATHMANDU, April 21: Life in the Terai region as well as in the hilly region has been affected due to the lack of rain for a long time. The increasing heat and dry condition has led to growing incidents of fire in various places.

KATHMANDU May 12: Air pollution in Nepal is starting to worsen again with the increased fire incidents and lack of rain. According to the latest data, the Air Quality Index (AQI) of Patan, Lalitpur is 176, Kirtipur, Kathmandu 163, Narayani 171 and Dhankuta 155.

KATHMANDU, March 16: Nepal Police has urged the general public to put precautionary measures in place to prevent possible incidents of fire in the dry season. The security body has called on the public to remain alert of the incidents and subsequent loss of life and property.

LAHAN, March 24: Two minors and a woman died on Saturday in two different fire incidents that occurred in Siraha.
