Following criticism, Nepal puts on hold decision to ask tourists to bring cash for on-arrival visa

KATHMANDU, April 19: The Department of immigration has backed off from its decision asking tourists to bring cash to obtain on-arrival visas. It had put the provision that tourists coming to Nepal have to carry cash arguing that the electronic transaction was cumbersome.
