Venom 2: After massive success, film writer confirms that the sequel is officially happening

Sony’s comic-book movie, Venom, did massively well at the worldwide box office. The movie which starred A-lister Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock raked in more than USD 850 million worldwide at the box office and became one of the highest grossing films of the year. It is then quite natural that the Marvel studio bosses want to make the most out of it even though the movie did not do well within the critics' circle.
