KATHMANDU, May 7: Embassy of Bangladesh in Kathmandu organized a daylong art camp on the theme ‘From Mountains to the Delta’ on Monday. The art camp is a part of the weeklong art festival being organized by the Embassy in association with Art Bangla Foundation Dhaka and Siddhartha Art Gallery. The artworks of the ten eminent artists will be exhibited from today to May 10 at the Siddhartha Art Gallery, Baber Mahal Revisited, Kathmandu.

His Mithila painting depicts the cycle of various contexts connected with the religious and social aspects of the story of the age from the true age to the Kali Yuga. His art is based on the story of the goddess who started from creation and entered four eras. By believing in the cycle of origin and destruction according to religious beliefs, the story has been raised in art.

Siddhartha Art Gallery, Babermahal Revisited, is holding an abstract painting exhibition by artist Shivangini Rana. Rana’s solo exhibition titled ‘Bold and Beautiful’ features bold brush strokes with vibrant colors on canvas depicting her carefree and confident attitude.

Kabi Raj Lama’s ‘Cycles of Impermanence’, an exhibition of etchings, lithographs and woodcuts exhibited at Siddhartha Art Gallery, Baber Mahal, concluded on Friday.
