KATHMANDU, May 7: Embassy of Bangladesh in Kathmandu organized a daylong art camp on the theme ‘From Mountains to the Delta’ on Monday. The art camp is a part of the weeklong art festival being organized by the Embassy in association with Art Bangla Foundation Dhaka and Siddhartha Art Gallery. The artworks of the ten eminent artists will be exhibited from today to May 10 at the Siddhartha Art Gallery, Baber Mahal Revisited, Kathmandu.

His Mithila painting depicts the cycle of various contexts connected with the religious and social aspects of the story of the age from the true age to the Kali Yuga. His art is based on the story of the goddess who started from creation and entered four eras. By believing in the cycle of origin and destruction according to religious beliefs, the story has been raised in art.

Siddhartha Art Gallery, Babermahal Revisited, is holding an abstract painting exhibition by artist Shivangini Rana. Rana’s solo exhibition titled ‘Bold and Beautiful’ features bold brush strokes with vibrant colors on canvas depicting her carefree and confident attitude.

Kabi Raj Lama’s ‘Cycles of Impermanence’, an exhibition of etchings, lithographs and woodcuts exhibited at Siddhartha Art Gallery, Baber Mahal, concluded on Friday.

Siddhartha Art Gallery at Babermahal Revisited, which was closed for the last nine months due to the pandemic, has reopened with the exhibition "A Single Brushstroke: Chan Mind Spiritual Painting" by Jerome Edou.

‘Art is Power’; an artistic outcome by the girls who are asking for an equal world through their art work for the equal representation has begun at Siddhartha Art Gallery, Baber Mahal Revisited. One week long exhibition kicked off on September 22 that features around 150 representative artworks by girls.

Siddhartha Art Gallery (SAG) established by eminent artist Shashikala Tiwari and Sangeeta Thapa in Pratap Bhawan Complex in Kantipath has been showcasing artworks of talented artist since September 28, 1987.

The exhibition features 102 black and white photographs by 44 photographers. In the exhibition, the images of Kathmandu Valley, people and their daily activities provide a powerful and fascinating vignette into the socio cultural history.

The exhibition concludes today which is on display at Siddhartha Art Gallery, Baber Mahal Revisited. Recipient of Himalayan Light Art in 2018 and more, Gurung completed his MFA in Classical Realism and the very essence of classical realism is also present in his current exhibition.

Siddhartha Art Gallery is currently showcasing an exhibition of etchings ‘Seduction of Printmaking II | 2019’. In the exhibition, the prints on display are the works made during a printmaking workshop conducted by the collective Printmaking Nepal.

The fifth edition ‘Amalgam’ is being held at Siddhartha Art Gallery and its vicinity in Babarmahal. The art exhibition was inaugurated by Ritu Vaidya, managing director of United Traders Syndicate Pvt Ltd, on Tuesday. Sangita Thapa, director of Siddhartha Art Gallery hosted the inaugural program and Vaidya was present as the chief guest during the event.
