KATHMANDU, July 29: The parliamentary special investigation committee has concluded that there was no entry of unauthorized people in the Ministry of Finance on the night before the new budget was unveiled in parliament.

KATHMANDU, July 29: The parliamentary special investigation committee formed to investigate the then Finance Minister Sharma, who was accused of manipulating tax rates by calling unauthorized persons at the finance ministry in the middle of the night while preparing the 2022/23 budget, has submitted its report to the Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota today.

KATHMANDU, July 28: The Parliamentary Special Committee has come under pressure from the ruling alliance to give a 'clean chit' to former Finance Minister Janardan Sharma after there was no CCTV footage of him allowing unauthorized people into the finance ministry in the middle of the night while preparing the budget for the fiscal year 2022/23.

KATHMANDU, July 16: The Parliamentary Special Committee formed to investigate the alleged involvement of an ‘unauthorized person’ by former Finance Minister Janardhan Sharma to manipulate tax rates in the annual budget for the fiscal year 2022/23 has started studying the CCTV footage received from the Finance Ministry.
