MCA Nepal invites tender for 18 km cross-border transmission line

KATHMANDU, March 16: Millennium Challenge Account Nepal (MCA-Nepal) has invited tender for the 18 km long Butwal-Gorakhpur power transmission line on Friday.

KATHMANDU, May 15: The process to construct the proposed 400 kV new Butwal-Gorakhpur second transnational transmission line between Nepal and India has moved forward. The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has got approval for foreign investment in the project.
