Two killed in road accident in Rukum East

RUKUM, June 4: Two people have been killed in a road accident involving a tractor in Rukum East. The accident took place on Friday evening at Dading in Sisne Rural Municipality-4 of the district. 

According to the District Police Office, Rukum East, two persons on board the ill-fated tractor (Ra 1 Ta 1616) heading towards Dading died on the spot. 

The deceased have been identified as Akash Budha, 15, of Sisne-4 Dading and Nandi Budha, 50, of the same place, said Krishna Khatri, Inspector and Information Officer at the Office. Two others were injured and they are undergoing treatment at Rukum East Hospital, said Inspector Khatri. The tractor driver is on the run.
