KATHMANDU, Dec 6: Rabi Lamichhane, the chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), will go to Qatar on Thursday to strengthen and expand the party network there. He recently returned from Malaysia.

According to Lamichhane's personal secretary, Prakash Sigdel, Lamichhane will depart by Qatar Airways at 9:30 AM on Thursday.

He plans to spend two days in Qatar. Lamichhane in Qatar will discuss and meet with the Nepalis in Qatar for party strengthening and expansion. On the third day, he is scheduled to fly from there to the UK. Sigdel informed Republica that he will be engaging in dialogue and interaction with Nepalis in Britain as well.

"The chairman is going to meet Nepalis living there and discuss with them the party’s strengthening and expansion," said Sigdel.

Corporate treasurer Deepak Bohra is also going along with Chairman Lamichhane. Lamichhane’s private secretary Sigdel is also going directly to Britain on Wednesday morning to manage Lamichhane's visit.
