Rabi Lamichhane's car driver found injured after falling off the top floor of his rented apartment, his condition said to be critical

KATHMANDU, April 17: The driver of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairman Rabi Lamichhane has been found in a state of falling down from three floors of a house in Bharatpur, Chitwan.

Dil Bahadur Thapa, 39, alias Shambhu, resident of Bahrabise Municipality-3 in Sindhupalchok, was found injured after falling down from the roof of his rented house at 4 am today.

According to the police, Thapa was seriously injured with injuries on his head and legs. He is being treated at College of Medical Sciences in Bharatpur.

He was sleeping on the roof at night along with Kaluram Rajbanshi, the driver of RSP General Secretary Mukul Dhakal.

Thapa reached Damauli in Tanahun on Sunday with Lamichhane and was scheduled to go to Bara today. In the morning, there was a door-to-door program at various places in Bharatpur.
