KAPILVASTU, April 25: Binit Mishra of Malparwa, Kapilvastu municipality-4, who was abducted on Wednesday afternoon, was safely rescued by the police after eight hours.

Mishra was abducted by unknown individuals in a vehicle from Taulihawa Hat Bazar around noon on Wednesday.

SP Navaratna Paudel said that Mishra was successfully rescued in Butwal during the police’s search following the abduction.

SP Paudel mentioned that six individuals including four main suspects have been arrested on the charges of kidnapping. Paudel added that investigations into the incident are underway and further details are set to be provided during a press conference. The motive behind the abduction is believed to be related to a financial transaction.
