Former minister Yadav registers his candidacy in Dhanusha-2

JANAKPURDHAM, Oct 9: Former minister and Nepali Congress (NC) leader Ram Krishna Yadav has filed his candidacy for the election to the House of Representatives from Dhanusha-2 on behalf of the ruling alliance.

Yadav himself went to the election officer's office established at the ward office at Bideha Municipality-1 Tinkauriya Bazar in Dhanusha and registered his candidacy.

Along with him, Loktantrik Samajwadi Party's Sanjay Shah and Maoist Center's Shyam Yadav filed their candidatures for (A) and (B) constituencies of the provincial assembly, respectively. All the three candidates along with their cadres went to the election officer's office and registered their candidacies.

Ram Krishna was elected as a member of the Constituent Assembly and was defeated in the general election of 2074 BS.  Sanjay and Shyam, who have nominated themselves as members of the provincial assembly, have directly nominated themselves for the first time. The Election Commission has fixed the deadline for nomination registration from 10AM to 5PM on Sunday.
