Child drowns in swimming pool in Pokhara

POKHARA, June 11: A child has drowned in a swimming pool in Pokhara. Annex Thapa, 10, of Pokhara-8 Alumaila Chowk drowned in the swimming pool operated by Mohan Dutta Pokharel of Batulechaur, Pokhara Metropolitan City-16. He drowned while swimming in the pool around 6PM on Saturday.

The boy and his parents had gone to the pool to beat the rising heat in Pokhara. He suddenly drowned while swimming and was rescued and brought to Deep Hospital. According to the District Police Office Kaski, he was declared dead by doctors. According to Kaski police, the incident is being further investigated.
