KATHMANDU, Nov 8: Dish Media Network's Managing Director, Sudeep Acharya, is honored as one of the top ten business leaders in South Asia 2022 by CEO Insights Asia.

The recognition is provided to the top-notch professionals and thought leaders in South Asia who drive the country's corporate realm to its future in multiple dimensions.

Under his leadership, Dish Media Network, the only DTH service provider in Nepal, is serving over a million customers. He is also the chairman of Digital Home International, which produces set-up boxes and has recently expanded its product portfolio into Home Appliances. Besides, under his chairmanship, Kamana Sewa bank has grown to 131 branches across the country.

Acharya attributes it all to teamwork when asked about the success mantra. His advice to aspiring leaders is, "As Entrepreneurs, what you need to understand is that there are downsides too. So, before deciding to build something, ensure that there has been ample research."

Dish Media Network expanded its service as an Internet Service Provider through DishHome Fibernet in 2020 by addressing the demand of the Nepali people. It also recently launched its IPTV, focusing on the new generation. “With so much success and international recognition, Sudip Acharya looks forward to connecting every Nepali household to a broadband network,” said a press statement issued by the Dish Home Fibernet.
