No fee to be paid for re-application

KATHMANDU, May 3: After losing the data of the candidates, the Public Service Commission (PSC) has called for applications again. The commission has called upon the candidates who have applied in the advertisements published in the months of November, January and January 2079 BS to apply again.

Information officer of Public Service Commission, Devi Prasad Subedi, said that the concerned candidates should submit their application again before June 1 and they do not have to pay the fee for re-application.

The commission requested re-application after it was not certain that the deleted data would be recovered from the Governmnet Integrated Data Center (GIDC) of National Information Technology Center (NITC) which hosts the online application system of the Public Service Commission.

An effort is being made to recover the data, but as it is not possible to determine how long this process will be completed and how much data will be recovered, the commission said.

When re-applying, one has to apply only in the advertisement of the same group in which the application was made earlier. After the re-application is received, the applications which have been approved in the previous year will be identified through the online application system and arrangements will be made to re-approve the application.

In addition, it is mentioned in the notice issued by the commission that the re-applications related to the applications that have yet to be approved in the past will be checked and the work of approval will be completed as soon as possible.
