KATHMANDU, August 15: The Election Commission (EC) has intensified preparations in order to hold the November 20 elections to the provincial and federal parliaments in a free and fair manner. In this regard, the poll body has endorsed the election schedule.

KATHMANDU, August 16: Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Chairperson Upendra Yadav has said that the bill on citizenship which was returned to the House of Representatives (HoR) from the Office of the President would be sent to the President for adjudication after passing it again from the federal parliament.

KATHMANDU, August 15: Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa has said that there is no need to express anger over the President’s act of sending the Citizenship Bill back to parliament for reconsideration. He said that it is up to parliament to accept the message given by the President or to send the bill again as it is.
