Nepal, Malaysia ink bilateral labor deal
Minister for Labor, Gokarna Bista, and his Malaysian counterpart M. Kula Segaran has signed a labor deal amid a function at Hotel Hayat today.Malaysia's Minister of Human Resources M. Kula Segaran had arrived in Kathmandu on Sunday to sign a bilateral labor pact with Nepal.
PM Oli likely to stay at hospital for next few days
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is undergoing treatment at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital Maharajgunj. Oli was admitted at 4:30 AM today after suffering from the chest infection. The Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Center has said that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s health is improving steadily. However, he is likely to be kept in observation at the hospital.
Police arrest three in connection with Gauchan’s murder
Police have arrested three persons for their alleged involvement in the assassination of Sharad Kumar Gauchan, then chairman of the Federation of Contractors' Association of Nepal (FCAN). According to the police, Lopsang Lama, Roshan Budathoki and Amber Rana were arrested in connection with the killing of Gauchan in October last year in broad-day light in the capital.

Indonesian plane with 189 aboard crashes into sea near Jakarta, wreckage found
An aircraft with 189 people on board is believed to have sunk after crashing into the sea off Indonesia’s island of Java on Monday, shortly after takeoff from the capital on its way to the country’s tin-mining hub, officials said. A spokesman for Indonesia’s search and rescue agency said the Lion Air flight, JT610, lost contact 13 minutes after takeoff, adding that a tugboat leaving the capital’s port had seen the craft falling.
