JUMLA, June 23: There isn’t a single health post in any of the 30 wards of Jumla district. This district with a total of 60 wards has seven rural municipalities and one municipality. Though the public has lamented the extremely sorry state of health facilities, authorities do not promise a sign of change anytime soon.

HETAUDA, May 17: As the vote counting for 33 wards of the various local units of Makawanpur district reached the final stage, Nepali Congress (NC) and CPN-UML have won in equal number of wards in various parts of the district.
KATHMANDU, March 16: A week after finalizing the number of wards in the new local structure, the government tabled a bill in parliament on Tuesday to determine the number of wards under the new local units.
