SURKHET, April 27: Dinesh Rawal, a resident of Sidhhakumakh Rural Municipality in Salyan district runs an agriculture farm in Panchapuri Municipality-9, Bijuma in the western part of Surkhet. A 10+2 graduate, Rawal has taken 40 ropanis of land on lease for vegetable farming. Eighteen local people have been employed at the farm where green vegetables including tomatoes, green chilis, pumpkins, cabbage, and cucumbers are ready to be picked and supplied to the market.

PANCHTHAR, April 11: Chudamani Kafle, a farmer from Phidim-2, Samdi was found to have been working at his vegetable field. He was desperate to sell his cabbages, which are ready to be harvested. But finding a customer for sale has been difficult for him these days due to lockdown enforced nationwide as an attempt to control the spread of global pandemic of novel coronavirus.

BIRATNAGAR, July 28: Preparations are on to operate the vegetable market situated at Katahari of Morang district, which is said to be equipped with modern facilities, long after its inauguration.
