KATHMANDU, July 31: The government has decided to send an eight-member delegation led by joint-secretary Rabi Shankar of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies to India to participate in the first meeting being held for reviewing the Nepal-India Trade Treaty, which was last revised in October 2009.

Governed by 10 Articles, the countries entered into the Treaty with the desire to "strengthen and develop these (existing) ties and to perpetuate peace between the two countries."

KATHMANDU, April 5: The third meeting of the Members of the Eminent Persons Group on Nepal India Relations (EPG-NIR) from Nepal and India has decided to revise the 1950 Peace and Friendship Treaty.
